To all the students out there, especially the ones who are pursuing graduation like engineering, medical…

I graduated from an engineering college in June 2016. If I recall my college days, I remember those tech fests, cultural fests, branch fests, graduation day; alumni meet, club auditions… and so on.

Well, I hope you people enjoy them a lot. If we go behind the scenes, there is lot of effort put in to conducting these fests by students, staff, and many more. When it comes to the event publicity, it matters how effectively you design your posters either it is online or on a notice board.

If your poster is well designed then obviously it will drag people’s attention and many of them will be curious to know about your events and the number of students participating will also increase.

Let me give you an example

 

If we just observe the poster, the theme, fonts, images, lights and colours speak about fashion ans style.

you need not be a pro in photoshop or image editing to make such beautifull posters. This is the stage where you start learning, infact a new skill you develop other than your academics.

 If you are unaware of photoshop just keep calm and follow some basic things i have mentioned below.

I suggest you to start with the basics like shapes, colours and images if you are not used to diffrent tools of photoshop. You can easily find different photoshop tutorials on youtube.

And i would recommend you just try out different tools in photoshop rather than looking for complex photo editing or effects.

Checkout www.dafont.com to find some cool free fonts to download and try using them.

Just try to imitate these few pics below once you understand the basics tools of photoshop.

 

 

 

   

Pick more images like these from google and play with the fonts and shapes. Try all the tools no matter you are completely aware of them or not. Just pick suitable fonts and background.
